Hi there! I’m Kati Volitich, a computer engineering student at the University of California, Berkeley. As my field of study is a combination of elements of electrical engineering and computer science, it deals with the design, development, and the utilization of computers.
Career opportunities in the area of computer engineering are endless. While the field is still dominated by men, women are making their mark in the industry. Future engineers like me will soon be a part of teams in charge of developing digital systems, operating systems, computer networks, and software.
Today’s world revolves around technology and how it makes our lives more convenient and more connected to our families, friends, and colleagues. The field of computer technology is preparing students like me for careers as lifelong learners, as the world of technology is rapidly transforming.
